Tradition meets modernity
Auto Klevenz GmbH has nearly 100 years of experience in the motoring industry in Kronau. What began in 1927 as a small second-hand car dealership is now a modern, master-certified garage offering a comprehensive range of services – from repairs and tyre services to the ADAC breakdown service and car hire.
Since June 2022, Dennis Klevenz, a qualified master mechanic and former ADAC technical trainer, has been running the company. The business has been operating under its new name since 2026 – combining almost a century of experience with a clear vision for the future of automotive services.

Almost 100 years
of passion for cars
Andreas Vocke opens a second-hand car dealership on Kirrlacher Straße in Kronau – laying the foundations for almost 100 years of motoring history in the region.
His son, Robert Vocke, took over the business and continued to develop it – with a growing customer base and an expanded range of services.
A new repair workshop with a petrol station is built. Shortly afterwards, contracts are signed with the ADAC and Ford-Werke Köln. “Vocke” becomes the first authorised Ford workshop and the first ADAC breakdown service in the region.
Following the death of Robert Vocke, his son Theo Vocke took over the business and relocated it to its current site on Am Autobahnzubringer – an ideal location for the growing region.
Klaus Vocke took over the company and significantly expanded the breakdown service in particular. In 1992, a modern, fully equipped workshop was opened on the motorway slip road.
Opening of the modern car workshop at its current location – featuring state-of-the-art technology, several lifting platforms and an expanded range of services for all makes of vehicle.
In June 2022, the Vocke family will hand over the management of the business to Dennis Klevenz – a qualified master mechanic and former ADAC technical instructor. A new generation is carrying on the tradition that dates back almost 100 years.
This long-established company now operates under the new name Auto Klevenz GmbH and combines almost 100 years of experience in the motoring sector with a modern approach to vehicle servicing, breakdown assistance and ADAC car hire.

Master Motor Mechanic & Managing Director
Dennis Klevenz took over as managing director of this long-established business in June 2022. As a qualified Master Mechanic and former ADAC technical instructor, he brings not only technical expertise but also a deep passion for vehicles and excellent customer service. His aim: to lead the company’s nearly 100-year-old tradition into a modern future.
